This app does not work properly. Go away!

No real game in expert mode the dices are manipulated...

its a nice app but there are few bugs that seems to be fixed definitly.. :( there are many updates but none of them fix the real bugs.. also there is not a possibility to avoid user to watch your game if you dont want it!!!! they can read your chat as soon they decide to watch you even when they are added as a friend...

This is an excellent mobile app for playing FIBS matches. If you want to use Game Center, youre not going to find anyone online. Besides, there are much better Backgammon apps for that--try NJ Backgammon. The FIBS matches work exactly the same as any FIBS desktop app. It uses the same login, the same dice rolls, and things run at the same speed. The app itself is a bit clunky--the way to move chequers is a bit odd, and you must shake your device to undo--but I think thats expected from any FIBS app. The only other FIBS client I use is CocoaFIBS. Even though this one is a bit clunky, its significantly more enjoyable to use. The graphics are better, the bear-off bugs are non-existent, and Backgammon is much better suited to touch screen than a mouse/trackpad. Even with the issues I have with gameplay, this is the best FIBS client Ive found--desktop or mobile. Very worth buying if youre into FIBS, but stay away if you arent.

Would be nice if game center actually worked!

This version is not as good as the v1 iPhone app installed on the iPad. Its very slow to move and does not have good color contrast options. Dont buy this one, but do buy the v1 for iPhone and install it on the iPad. The only inconvenience is that it doesnt do player list landscape, but its much faster then v2.

Dont let the mixed reviews for this app fool you. The Online FIBS, where you can play people all around the world, works great! I have been on the FIBS network for the last 5 hours, since I bought the app, and I have had no glitches. I cant speak for the Game Center part of this app, because I have not tried it yet. I wouldnt expect it to work as well as the FIBS network, only because the community isnt big enough yet. At least for the backgammon community. I am sure it will grow over time. FIBS is the place to be if you want to play backgammon online, though. Im from New Jersey and I just finished playing an hour of games with a guy from Egypt. Crazy! I highly recommend this app if you were big into FIBS before the iPad. Its a great way to continue to be a part of the online backgammon community without have to be stuck in front of your computer. Great job on the app guys!!!

Software freezes and is upside down, dont waste your money,

The worst thing about this game is after some ppl just drop the game they usually dont come back and after like 10 saved games caused by some idiots, you wont even be allowed to play. Is it to hard to make a system that this would be prevented? After all this isnt a free app. So do not use this app!!!

I wanted an interface to the FIBS server and this app provides it. This is better than the Backgammon Premium app I have. It would be 5 stars if priced right.

I have had 3 FIBS games get stuck when the client said I must make 2 moves, but there was only 1 to make. In one of those cases it happened when I had born off my last checker and won, but it kept insisting I make another move. Otherwise, it is the iPad FIBS client Ive been looking for. Please diagnose and fix!

Nice interface to FIBS, but currently only three choices for board color.

This app is very often frustratingly slow, and causes players to become annoyed with other, thinking the people are slow to respond.

I purchased Backgammon Online 2 for access to FIBS. However, as there is not an option to add identifying numbers on the board, and I am partially color-blind, I found the interface very minimal. Opponents were not tolerant of my hesitations caused by the lack of identifying numbers. On the plus side, it interacts with iTunes to record and display matches.
