FIBS, not Game Center

This is an excellent mobile app for playing FIBS matches. If you want to use Game Center, youre not going to find anyone online. Besides, there are much better Backgammon apps for that--try NJ Backgammon.

The FIBS matches work exactly the same as any FIBS desktop app. It uses the same login, the same dice rolls, and things run at the same speed. The app itself is a bit clunky--the way to move chequers is a bit odd, and you must shake your device to undo--but I think thats expected from any FIBS app.

The only other FIBS client I use is CocoaFIBS. Even though this one is a bit clunky, its significantly more enjoyable to use. The graphics are better, the bear-off bugs are non-existent, and Backgammon is much better suited to touch screen than a mouse/trackpad.

Even with the issues I have with gameplay, this is the best FIBS client Ive found--desktop or mobile. Very worth buying if youre into FIBS, but stay away if you arent.
